Crystal Palace have opened preliminary discussions with manager Oliver Glasner about a new contract following the club’s recent success. Chairman Steve Parish confirmed talks are underway to secure Glasner, whose deal expires at season’s end.
Glasner, who guided Palace to their first FA Cup and a Community Shield win, has impressed with his tactical setup and consistency. Parish stated that both parties want to ensure “the conditions are right” for Glasner to continue. He also praised Adam Wharton’s focus amid transfer links, calling him “extraordinary talent” who may one day move to a Champions League club.
