The United States women’s national team recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with world champions Spain in an international friendly. Mallory Swanson scored the late equaliser, marking her first international goal since the 2024 Olympics following her return from maternity leave.

Alexia Putellas and Salma Paralluelo gave Spain a 2-0 first-half advantage. Ashley Sanchez reduced the deficit shortly after half-time before substitute Swanson equalised in the 86th minute. Coach Emma Hayes praised her substitutes, whose introduction helped transform the American performance.
