Paris Saint-Germain beat Manchester City 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League. The defending European champions established a 3-0 first-half lead, leaving City unable to complete a comeback despite two goals from Erling Haaland.
Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha struck in the opening period as PSG exploited City’s defensive gaps. Haaland scored twice after the interval, but Maghnes Akliouche also found the net for Luis Enrique’s side, who took six points from their opening two matches.
