FC Porto defeated second-tier cup winners SCU Torreense 1-0 to lift the Portuguese Super Cup. Victor Froholdt scored the decisive first-half header, giving manager Francesco Farioli his second trophy and securing another domestic honour for the league champions.
Porto controlled possession but created few clear chances against disciplined opponents, with Froholdt converting Pepê’s delivery in the 38th minute. Torreense remained competitive after the break, yet Porto protected the narrow advantage and begin their league campaign with momentum.
