Lionel Messi scored two second-half goals as Inter Miami defeated Atlanta United 3-1, taking his MLS-leading scoring tally to 25. The 39-year-old also reached 15 assists this season, becoming the first player in MLS history to record at least 15 assists across three consecutive campaigns.

German Berterame opened the scoring before Messi struck twice in four minutes, beating defenders with trademark dribbles and left-footed finishes. Atlanta replied through a late Fafa Picault penalty. Messi now leads the Golden Boot race by six goals and has contributed to goals in 13 consecutive matches. Miami extended their winning streak to three games and remain second in the Eastern Conference.
