Kylian Mbappé was shown a straight red card in Real Madrid’s 1–0 win at Alavés after a reckless challenge on Antonio Blanco. The dismissal came just minutes after Eduardo Camavinga scored the game’s only goal.
The red card, confirmed after VAR review, marked Mbappé’s first since joining Madrid. Assistant coach Davide Ancelotti said the forward apologized and recognized his mistake. Madrid, chasing Barcelona in LaLiga, now await his suspension length.
