Arsenal recovered from a second-half deficit to draw 2-2 with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League. Declan Rice scored a late equaliser after Harry Kane’s penalty had put the German champions ahead.
Eberechi Eze opened the scoring in the 25th minute after replacing the injured Bukayo Saka. Alphonso Davies equalised ten minutes later following a pass from Kane. Bayern took the lead in the 61st minute when Kane converted a penalty awarded for Jurriën Timber’s handball. Arsenal continued pushing forward and Rice eventually secured a point. Both teams registered five shots on target, while Bayern produced the higher expected-goals total.
