Brentford beat Chelsea 3-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium to remain unbeaten and climb to third in the Premier League. Jaidon Anthony opened the scoring before Igor Thiago and Fabio Carvalho added late goals as Chelsea’s league winless run reached three matches.
The game remained goalless until Anthony converted from a corner in the 61st minute. Thiago finished a rebound in the 82nd before Carvalho scored in stoppage time, with Chelsea conceding five set-piece goals already this season under Xabi Alonso.
