Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has extended his contract with Barcelona until 2027 after coming out of retirement and playing a key role in the club’s domestic treble during the 2024/25 season.
Initially signed short-term due to Ter Stegen’s injury, Szczesny impressed with 14 clean sheets in 30 matches. His consistent form and leadership prompted Barcelona to offer him a new long-term deal.
