Wales will be without seven players through injury for their Women’s World Cup play-off semi-final against Albania, including influential midfielder Ceri Holland. Olivia Clark, Hayley Ladd, Laura Hughes, Ffion Morgan, Ella Powell and Mia Ross are also unavailable.
Head coach Rhian Wilkinson has responded by giving first senior call-ups to 18-year-olds Casi Gregson and Heidi Hills, with six uncapped players included overall. Wales travel to Albania on 9 October before hosting the return leg four days later.
