Estevao has returned to Brazil’s senior squad for the first time since a severe right hamstring tear in April ruled him out of the 2026 World Cup. Carlo Ancelotti selected the 19-year-old for friendlies against Australia and India.
The Chelsea winger recovered after conservative treatment and has rejoined Brazil for their September and October fixtures. Estevao said missing the World Cup was difficult, but he is now focused on reclaiming his place and contributing to Ancelotti’s new national-team cycle.
