Barbra Banda suffered an injury scare late in Orlando Pride’s 3-1 win over Bay FC after scoring twice and adding an assist. The forward had stretched her NWSL Golden Boot lead before pulling up near the sideline.
Orlando had used all substitutions and finished the match with 10 players after Banda left the field visibly upset. Head coach Seb Hines said the club did not yet know the full nature of the injury.
