Free agent center Isaiah Jackson has agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract to return to the Indiana Pacers, adding frontcourt depth after the offseason exit of longtime starter Myles Turner.
Jackson missed most of last season with an Achilles tear but impressed in 2023–24 with solid rim protection and rebounding. Indiana is investing in his development alongside Wiseman and Jay Huff.
Chet Holmgren (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Chet Holmgren has signed a fully guaranteed five-year rookie max extension with the Thunder worth up to $250 million. The 2025 NBA champion and defensive anchor is now locked in long-term with OKC’s core.
Despite a mid-season hip injury, Holmgren returned in February to lead the Thunder to their first NBA title. He starred defensively in the playoffs and joins Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in OKC’s long-term plans with no options included.
Anthony Davis (Dallas Mavericks)

Mavericks All-Star Anthony Davis underwent surgery to repair a detached retina suffered last season. He is expected to recover in time for training camp ahead of his first full season in Dallas.
Davis joined the Mavericks in the blockbuster Luka Doncic trade and impressed in limited games. With Kyrie Irving out long-term, Davis will lead a revamped team that includes No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg.
Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic)

Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has signed a five-year rookie max extension worth $239 million, potentially rising to $287 million with performance bonuses. The deal includes a rare player option in the 2030–31 season.
Banchero’s extension features supermax triggers tied to All-NBA, MVP, or DPOY honors. After a breakout year despite injury setbacks, he becomes the franchise cornerstone alongside Wagner, Suggs, and new addition Desmond Bane.
Jonas Valanciunas (Sacramento Kings)

Denver has informed Jonas Valanciunas he must honor the final two years of his contract after a pending trade from Sacramento. Greece’s Panathinaikos had expressed interest.
Valanciunas is expected to back up Nikola Jokic. Denver made it clear a buyout is off the table unless mutually agreed. The trade for Dario Saric is not yet official.
Cam Whitmore (Houston Rockets > Washington Wizards)

The Rockets have traded Cam Whitmore to the Wizards in exchange for two second-round picks. Whitmore now returns to his Maryland roots for a bigger role in Washington.
Despite strong per-touch scoring, Whitmore struggled for minutes in Houston. The Rockets prioritized sending him to a team where he could develop. The Wizards continue a busy offseason with this latest move.
Moe Wagner (Orlando Magic)

Free agent Moe Wagner has signed a one-year, $5 million contract to return to the Orlando Magic after the team declined his $11 million option earlier this summer.
Despite a torn ACL in December, Wagner impressed with 12.9 PPG in limited minutes before the injury. He was leading all under-20-min players in scoring and was a Sixth Man of the Year candidate.
Jaxson Hayes (Los Angeles Lakers)

Free agent center Jaxson Hayes has signed a one-year deal to return to the Lakers after emerging as last season’s starting center. He shot a career-best 72.2% and averaged 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds.
Hayes’ agents finalized the deal with Lakers president Rob Pelinka shortly after the franchise signed Deandre Ayton. Hayes will now serve as Ayton’s backup following limited playoff usage last season.
Spencer Dinwiddie (Charlotte Hornets)

Spencer Dinwiddie has signed a one-year deal with the Charlotte Hornets. He averaged 11 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds last season across 79 games, including 30 starts with Dallas.
Dinwiddie brings veteran leadership and scoring to the Hornets’ young core. Entering his 12th season, he’s expected to provide stability and experience in Charlotte’s rotation.
Dante Exum (Dallas Mavericks)

Free agent guard Dante Exum has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 8.0 points and 2.8 assists over two injury-hit seasons with the team.
Exum rejoined Dallas after weighing offers from two contenders. He’ll help cover backcourt duties with D’Angelo Russell as Kyrie Irving recovers from injury until early 2026.
