Borussia Mönchengladbach secured their first Bundesliga points of the season with a 3-2 comeback victory away to Stuttgart. United States defender Joe Scally scored and assisted as Gladbach avoided becoming the first team in Bundesliga history to lose their opening seven matches.

Ermedin Demirović gave Stuttgart an early lead before Scally equalised with a backheel shortly before half-time. Shuto Machino put Gladbach ahead six minutes after the restart, and 17-year-old Wael Mohya extended the lead following a Scally cross. Demirović scored again late on, but Gladbach held on for victory. Despite the breakthrough, the visitors remained bottom of the Bundesliga standings.

Bournemouth recorded one of the biggest victories in their history by defeating seven-time European champions AC Milan 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium. The Premier League club continued its perfect start to its debut European campaign, winning all three matches so far.

Justin Kluivert opened the scoring as Bournemouth dominated the early stages. Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off in the 27th minute, leaving the visitors with ten players. Bournemouth capitalised on the numerical advantage and added two more goals, including a late free-kick from Amine Adli. The victory followed European wins against Real Sociedad and Sturm Graz, marking a remarkable milestone for a club that faced liquidation in 2008.

Ajax secured their first UEFA Conference League victory of the campaign with a 2-0 win over Atalanta at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. Substitutes Tolu Arokodare and Abdellah Ouazane scored after the Dutch side dominated long periods of the match but struggled to finish their chances.

Ajax created several opportunities during the first half, with Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi making important saves.
