Chelsea have officially signed 20-year-old midfielder Dário Essugo from Sporting CP, completing a joint deal with teammate Geovany Quenda worth up to €74.4m.
Essugo, who signed until 2033, impressed on loan at Las Palmas last season and is Portugal’s youngest-ever debutant at 16 years and 6 days.
Igor Jesus, Cuiabano, Jair Cunha (Botafogo)

Nottingham Forest are negotiating with Botafogo to sign striker Igor Jesus, left-back Cuiabano, and centre-back Jair Cunha. All three players are seen as key targets in Forest’s squad rebuild.
Talks are progressing well. Jesus, 24, is highly rated in South America; Cuiabano, 22, recently joined from Gremio; and Cunha is a Brazil U20 international. Forest aim to strengthen multiple positions this summer.
