Inter Milan have completed the signing of Curtis Jones from Liverpool for €30m plus €5m in add-ons. The 25-year-old midfielder has signed through 2031, ending a 16-year association with his boyhood club after 228 senior appearances.

Liverpool also secured a 10% sell-on clause after previously rejecting a lower Inter approach. Jones wanted a new challenge after struggling for regular Premier League starts, while Inter add a third English player this summer after John Stones and Djed Spence.

Manchester United, Brighton and Carlos Baleba

Manchester United have agreed a deal worth up to £70m for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba. United will pay £65m initially plus £5m in add-ons, with the Cameroon international now cleared to undergo a medical this weekend.

The agreement converts United’s recent pursuit into a club-to-club breakthrough after Brighton previously demanded a much larger fee. Baleba wants the move and would add athleticism to Michael Carrick’s midfield following the departures and injuries affecting United’s current options.

Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Adam Wharton

Crystal Palace have rejected an approach from Manchester City for England midfielder Adam Wharton and told suitors he is not for sale. City made the enquiry while rebuilding midfield following Rodri’s departure, but Palace immediately shut down the possibility.

New Palace manager Pierre Sage publicly backed the 22-year-old to remain at Selhurst Park for another season. Wharton is contracted until 2029, giving Palace a strong negotiating position while City continue examining several alternatives before the transfer deadline.

Inter considered possible loan options but have now closed that route as Stankovic pushes for a first-team role. Rejecting a package potentially worth €45m underlines the club’s valuation of the midfielder and its intention to keep him through at least January.

Aston Villa, West Ham United and Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham on a season-long loan containing a conditional obligation to buy. The 28-year-old DR Congo international returns to the Premier League after West Ham’s relegation last season.

The completion follows Villa’s earlier agreement for the right-back and adds another experienced defender during a major squad rebuild. Wan-Bissaka made 65 appearances for West Ham and started all four of DR Congo’s matches at the 2026 World Cup.

Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Yan Diomande

Real Madrid have officially signed Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for a reported €125m base fee, with bonuses potentially taking the deal to €140m. The winger has signed a long-term contract running through 2033.

Diomande leaves Leipzig after one season in which he produced 15 goals and 11 assists across 46 competitive matches. The €125m guaranteed fee makes him one of the most expensive Bundesliga departures ever and a major addition to Jose Mourinho’s Madrid rebuild.

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Savinho

Tottenham have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Brazil winger Savinho for £75m plus up to £10m in add-ons. The 22-year-old will undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract, taking Spurs’ summer spending beyond £300m.

Spurs failed to sign Savinho last summer, but limited game time under Pep Guardiola reopened the move. Roberto De Zerbi wants more attacking width, while City are already pursuing Palmeiras winger Allan Elias as part of their ongoing squad overhaul.
