Manchester United, Leeds United and Karl Darlow

Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer after his Leeds contract expired. The 35-year-old Wales international has agreed a two-year deal, with an option to extend for a further season.

Darlow is expected to provide cover for Senne Lammens and could feature during pre-season while Belgium’s World Cup players rest. His arrival may also push Altay Bayindir closer to leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Brighton, Tottenham and Luka Vuskovic

Brighton have signed Croatia defender Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham for a club-record £46m fee. The 19-year-old has agreed a five-year contract, with an option for another season, and the final package could rise to £50m.

Vuskovic replaces Jan Paul van Hecke, who has moved the other way to Tottenham for £52m. Brighton had two bids rejected before completing the deal, giving Fabian Hurzeler another highly rated young defender for next season.

Fenerbahce, Marseille and Mason Greenwood

Fenerbahce have reportedly agreed a €42m package with Marseille to sign Mason Greenwood. The former Manchester United forward is set to sign a four-year deal in Turkey after choosing Fenerbahce over Saudi interest and other European options.

The fee includes €40m fixed plus €2m in add-ons, making it a major sale for Marseille during their cost-cutting push. Greenwood’s move also continues Fenerbahce’s aggressive summer recruitment under their current sporting project.

New England Revolution, Lyon and Matt Turner

New England Revolution have extended Matt Turner’s loan from Lyon through the end of 2026. The MLS club also hold an option to extend the deal into 2027 and then buy the USMNT goalkeeper outright.

Turner returned to New England on loan last August and reclaimed the starting role after spells with Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Lyon. The agreement keeps a 55-cap international in MLS through the next cycle.

Barcelona, LDU Quito and Josue Caicedo

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Ecuadorian teenager Josue Caicedo on an initial loan from LDU Quito. The 18-year-old left-back will join Barca Atletic for the 2026-27 season, with an option to buy included in the deal.
