Newcastle are finalising a €80m ($93.3m) deal to sign Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, which would break their club transfer record. The 23-year-old has agreed a five-year deal and is set for a medical.
PSG will receive 20% of the fee due to a sell-on clause. Ekitike scored 22 goals last season and is expected to partner Alexander Isak as Eddie Howe strengthens for Champions League contention.
