Manchester City have sold 22-year-old midfielder Maximo Perrone to Como for a deal worth up to £13m. The agreement includes a 30% sell-on clause as part of City’s future profit protection.
Perrone joined City from Velez in 2023 and made one Premier League appearance before two loan spells at Las Palmas and Como. Como have now secured him permanently following a successful loan stint last season.

Damian Lillard is finalizing a three-year, $42 million contract to rejoin the Portland Trail Blazers, which includes a no-trade clause and a player option for 2027-28. The reunion comes after his short stint with the Bucks.
Lillard became a surprise free agent after being waived by Milwaukee on July 7. Despite a torn Achilles set to sideline him next season, Portland moved quickly to bring back their franchise icon for his 14th NBA year.
Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

Galatasaray and Napoli are finalizing a €75m transfer for striker Victor Osimhen. The deal will include an initial €40m payment and a restriction preventing sales to Italian clubs for two years post-transfer.
After positive talks, Galatasaray agreed to stagger payments and meet Napoli’s conditions, including sell-on clauses and sale restrictions. Only final guarantees remain before the Nigerian striker makes the switch to Istanbul.
Kevin McDonald (Exeter City)

Veteran midfielder Kevin McDonald has rejoined Exeter City on a one-year contract after initially leaving at the end of last season. He returns for a third spell with the club after training with the squad post-expiry.
Exeter invited McDonald back to train following his contract expiry. Impressed with his fitness and contribution, the club re-signed the 36-year-old former Scotland international who has already made 21 appearances for the Grecians.

Josh Windass has left Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer due to repeated missed wage payments. The 31-year-old midfielder triggered a FIFA-backed exit clause and has now been confirmed as a free agent by the club.
Windass, who had one year left on his contract, issued a 15-day contract termination notice after June’s third wage default in four months. His 13 goals and 5 assists last season are drawing fresh interest.
