Chelsea have an obligation to buy Jadon Sancho for £25m if they finish above 14th in the Premier League. A clause allows them to cancel the deal by paying a £5m penalty.
Sancho, currently on loan, has scored twice in 28 appearances and hasn’t scored since December. Despite inconsistent form, sources say a permanent move is still expected, though Chelsea have an option to withdraw. United are open to selling Sancho, with Antony and Rashford also expected to be offloaded.
