The team, led by Victor Wembanyama and new addition De’Aaron Fox, now face uncertainty after both stars endured serious setbacks last season. Wembanyama’s season ended in February with a blood clot in his shoulder, while Fox suffered tendon damage in March. Despite San Antonio awarding Fox a four-year, $229m max extension this summer, injuries continue to overshadow optimism for 2025–26.
