Liverpool have submitted a new £113m offer for Florian Wirtz, including £100m upfront and £13m in add-ons, still short of Leverkusen’s £126m asking price.
Despite the offer falling short, Wirtz is keen on joining Liverpool, which may help negotiations progress. The Reds remain hopeful of securing the star playmaker this summer.
