Raphinha has signed a new contract with Barcelona until 2028, extending his stay by an extra year following a stellar campaign. The Brazilian forward scored 34 goals and registered 25 assists in 56 games, helping Barça clinch the LaLiga title, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa. He also set a club record with 22 goal contributions in a single Champions League season, surpassing Lionel Messi’s mark.
After considering a summer exit in 2024, Raphinha was convinced to stay by coach Hansi Flick and thrived in a new role on the left of the attack. Sporting director Deco confirmed the extension, praising Raphinha’s form and commitment. Talks are also underway to extend deals for Frenkie de Jong, Eric García, and Lamine Yamal.
