Manchester United ended a nine-match winless streak with a dramatic 3-2 Champions League victory over Roma at Old Trafford. Matheus Cunha scored twice late in the second half after United trailed by two goals.
Matías Soulé and Donyell Malen gave Roma a 2-0 lead inside 18 minutes. Fernandes converted a retaken penalty in the 58th minute before Cunha equalised in the 83rd and scored the winner three minutes later. Cunha was subsequently sent off, but United held on to reach six Champions League points.
