Christopher Nkunku has expressed his desire to remain at RB Leipzig beyond his current loan spell rather than return to parent club AC Milan. The French forward says he feels settled in Germany but acknowledges that a permanent transfer depends on negotiations between the clubs.

Speaking to Sport Bild, Nkunku highlighted his familiarity with Leipzig, his relationship with supporters and his enjoyment of life at the club. AC Milan retain his registration under a contract running until June 2030, meaning Leipzig cannot secure his long-term future without reaching an agreement. Nkunku also expressed his ambition to return to the France national team. No permanent transfer has been finalised.
