Roma defeated Slovan Bratislava 4-0 in the Champions League, recovering from their dramatic defeat against Real Madrid. However, midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini left the match with a muscular problem, creating another fitness concern ahead of Roma’s upcoming European fixtures against PSG and Manchester United.
Roma controlled the match despite making several changes to their starting lineup, with Donyell Malen, Mario Hermoso and Nahuel Molina among the players highlighted in the supplied match coverage. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini praised the team’s concentration and ability to respond to their previous defeat. He said the squad was already short of players in certain positions and warned that further injuries could complicate their demanding schedule. Pellegrini’s recovery timeline remains unconfirmed.
