Jhon van Beukering, KNVB and Quiermo Dumay

The Dutch football association’s prosecutor is seeking a 30-month suspension for former player and coach Jhon van Beukering over an alleged assault during an amateur match. The proposed punishment emerged at a disciplinary hearing, but no final ruling has been announced.
Van Beukering is accused of striking IJsselmeervogels player Quiermo Dumay near the players’ tunnel during a game against GVVV. Both GVVV and SC Veluwezoom subsequently ended coaching arrangements with him. The allegations remain subject to disciplinary proceedings.
