Gotham FC, Jordynn Dudley and Bruninha

NWSL leaders Gotham FC have lost forward Jordynn Dudley and Brazilian defender Bruninha to season-ending injuries ahead of the playoffs. Dudley sustained a foot fracture during training, while Bruninha tore her right anterior cruciate ligament while representing Brazil.
Gotham placed Dudley on the season-ending injury list after an impressive rookie campaign featuring four goals and three assists. Bruninha was stretchered off during Brazil’s 3-1 victory over Argentina. Her injury also threatens her participation in the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
