Robbie Savage, Peterborough United and Forest Green Rovers

Forest Green Rovers owner Dale Vince has accused Peterborough United of approaching Robbie Savage without permission before appointing him manager on 2 October. Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has rejected the allegation, insisting the recruitment process followed all applicable rules.
Vince claims Peterborough contacted Savage directly after Forest Green initially refused permission for discussions. MacAnthony publicly denied wrongdoing and defended the appointment process. Forest Green have not confirmed whether they have submitted a formal complaint to the Football Association.
