Clarence Seedorf and Corinthians
11 October 2026
Brazilian club Corinthians have officially appointed former Netherlands international Clarence Seedorf as head coach on a contract running until the end of 2027. The 50-year-old returns to management for the first time since leaving Cameroon’s national team in 2019.
Seedorf replaces Fernando Diniz, who was dismissed following seven consecutive league defeats. Corinthians currently occupy sixteenth place in Brazil’s twenty-team top division, immediately above the relegation zone. The appointment gives Seedorf another opportunity to establish himself as a manager.
