Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay has received medical clearance to resume full-team training after undergoing a heart procedure in September. The Scotland international had been sidelined following the discovery of an irregular heartbeat during the opening weeks of the season.
Further diagnostic tests confirmed McTominay was fit to play following a successful cardiac ablation procedure. He has rejoined Napoli’s squad after training separately and could work towards a competitive return ahead of Scotland’s November international fixtures.
