Manchester United have launched recruitment for a new Supporter Escalations Executive dedicated partly to investigating ticket touting, sanctions and supporter appeals following growing controversy around illegal ticket resale at Old Trafford.
The specialist will analyse suspected touting cases using technology and data while handling supporter appeals. The move follows United banning 685 season-ticket holders alleged to have been involved in touting, with some supporters disputing the club’s findings.
