Paris FC and Arsenal Women
30 September 2026
Paris FC recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Arsenal in the Women’s Champions League. Alessia Russo and Georgia Stanway put Arsenal in control before Clara Mateo and Maeline Mendy completed the French side’s late comeback.
Mateo pulled one back in the 72nd minute before Leah Williamson handled the ball after apparently believing a goal kick had not been taken. The referee awarded a penalty and substitute Mendy converted three minutes from time to deny Arsenal victory.
