Chelsea and the Football Association

Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association over alleged discriminatory supporter behaviour during their 3-2 Premier League win at Fulham on 24 August. The FA alleges chanting included an express or implied reference to religion or belief.
Chelsea had already acknowledged receiving multiple reports of sectarian chanting from a small section of supporters after the match. The club said discriminatory chants are not tolerated and supporters found responsible would face the strongest possible action.
