Celtic reported a £4.8m loss after tax for the year ending 30 June, reversing a £33.9m profit a year earlier. Revenue fell 22.7% to £111m, with the club linking the downturn largely to missing Champions League participation.
The club also reported £66.4m in cash and said it spent £31.6m on summer recruitment. Celtic again missed the Champions League this season after losing their play-off, while interim chairman Brian Wilson said supporter communication and engagement must improve.
