Daniel Maldini’s hospital toxicology test returned below the cut-off limit for narcotic substances following his recent Milan car crash. A preliminary screening had been positive, prompting further testing after police also found him over the legal alcohol limit.
ANSA reported the Niguarda Hospital results did not support narcotic impairment. Police had already withdrawn Maldini’s driving licence after the alcohol reading, while the Cagliari forward has since been included in Italy’s national-team squad for the international window.
