Coventry City and Nottingham Forest
19 September 2026
Coventry City beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 to record their first Premier League victory since April 2001 and their 100th top-flight win overall. Jay Dasilva scored the decisive goal, ending a run of four league defeats since Coventry’s return.
Coventry responded to a 5-0 home loss to Brighton with a disciplined away performance at the City Ground. Forest had a late Igor Jesus equaliser ruled out by VAR, leaving Frank Lampard’s side with their first points of the season.
