Chicago Stars and Vlatko Andonovski

Chicago Stars hired former United States women’s national team coach Vlatko Andonovski as chief soccer officer, making him the highest-ranking member of the club’s technical staff. He joins shortly after leaving his sporting-director role with Kansas City Current.
Andonovski will appoint a technical director and head coach while reshaping the roster for 2027. Chicago sit last in the NWSL and have recently dismissed both their general manager and head coach, making the appointment part of a broader technical rebuild.
