JJ Gabriel, Manchester United and Real Madrid

Real Madrid are actively trying to sign Manchester United academy forward JJ Gabriel, with multiple sources describing their efforts as strong. The Spanish club want the 15-year-old immediately and plan to place him with Real Madrid Castilla in senior football.
Gabriel has formally asked United to cancel his registration and is currently not training with the club. United can challenge the request, but his European Union passport could allow a move within the EU once he turns 16 on October 6.
