Inter Miami have appointed Cristian Kily Gonzalez as their new head coach, replacing Guillermo Hoyos following a five-match winless run. Gonzalez will formally take charge once his work permit is approved, with Hoyos remaining temporarily in position.

The 52-year-old previously coached Rosario Central, Union and Platense in Argentina and played alongside Lionel Messi for the national team in 2005. Miami sit second in the Eastern Conference but have struggled since the World Cup break.
