Liam Delap, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea

Nottingham Forest have agreed a club-record deal worth around £50 million to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap. The 23-year-old is expected to undergo a medical and sign a long-term contract at the City Ground this week.
The agreement is a hard update from Forest’s earlier talks for Delap. Chelsea made him available after a season in which injuries limited his impact, while Forest are adding competition for Chris Wood and Igor Jesus.
