Carlos Baleba, Manchester United and Brighton

Manchester United have signed Cameroon midfielder Carlos Baleba from Brighton for an initial £65 million plus £5 million in potential add-ons. The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract, with United holding an option for one additional season.
Baleba completes a major midfield rebuild that also brought Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans to Old Trafford. He arrives while recovering from an ankle ligament injury suffered in pre-season, so United will need to manage his return to match fitness.
