Real Sociedad, Marseille and Nayef Aguerd

Real Sociedad and Marseille have reached an initial agreement for Morocco defender Nayef Aguerd to return to the Spanish club on loan. The arrangement includes a financial fee and an option allowing Sociedad to purchase him later.
Aguerd has also attracted Gulf interest, including from Al-Sadd, but reportedly agreed to return to Sociedad after his previous successful loan spell. Europa League football and familiarity with the club helped push the 30-year-old toward the Basque side.
