Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Ajax and Barcelona

Ajax have completed the season-long loan signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The agreement contains no purchase option, while both clubs will contribute towards the 34-year-old Germany international’s wages during his spell in Amsterdam.
Ter Stegen is seeking regular football after injuries and competition from Joan Garcia reduced his Barcelona role. Ajax needed another goalkeeper following Vitezslav Jaros’ departure, while coach Michel helped convince the fully fit veteran to join.
