Sevilla have officially signed 21-year-old goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez from Real Madrid on a contract running until 2031. The initial fee is €1m plus variables, with Sevilla acquiring 50% of the player’s economic rights this summer.
Real Madrid retained tiered buy-back options worth between €3m and €5m across the next three transfer windows. Gonzalez will join Sevilla’s training camp and compete for playing time after his route into Madrid’s senior team remained blocked.
