Alex Scott is in line to make his senior England debut in the World Cup warm-up games against New Zealand or Costa Rica. The Bournemouth midfielder travelled as a supplementary squad member for Thomas Tuchel’s pre-tournament camp in Florida.
Scott was part of England’s provisional 55-man list but missed the final 26, making him the only extra player still eligible for a late tournament call-up. Tuchel praised his reaction and commitment after that setback.
