Chris Finch said the Timberwolves are “a million miles away” from the team they believe they can be after another poor stretch, with Minnesota losing four of five and letting home-court hopes slip. Injuries and bad shooting have hit them at the wrong time. Minnesota fell to 46-32 after a home loss to Charlotte, while Anthony Edwards has missed eight of the last 10 games with knee pain and Jaden McDaniels has also been out. Finch said the problem is not only injuries but also spirit, discipline and a lack of connectedness.
