Bayern Munich
April 2026

Bayern Munich beat Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu to take a narrow advantage into the second leg. Luis Diaz opened the scoring before Harry Kane doubled the lead early in the second half, with Kylian Mbappe later pulling one back for Madrid. Bayern controlled much of the first half and punished Madrid through Diaz after a Serge Gnabry pass, then struck again straight after halftime through Kane. Real improved after Mbappe’s goal from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross, but Manuel Neuer’s saves helped Bayern protect the lead.
